This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath two-story home is located on Fletcher Ave (A1A) on Amelia Island -- also known as Fernandina Beach. Sleeps 6 with a King, Queen and two Twins (air mattress and pack-and-play available for use). Enjoy the sunrise with peeks of the ocean on the top porch. Public beach access is three doors down and across the street. You won't have to ride a condo elevator, be adjoined to your neighbors in a townhome, or walk blocks to experience one of Florida's most beautiful beaches. The space AMENITIES: After a day at the beach, rinse off with an outdoor shower head and enter through the mudroom/laundry room. There is a keypad entry so you don't have to take a key to the beach. The kitchen is well-appointed with stainless appliances, granite countertops, nice cookware and Henckel knives. There is a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig. Just bring groceries and you can host a meal for the whole family. A farm table comfortably seats six and a picnic table through the french doors onto the large patio seats more. Grill out with the propane grill on the fenced-in patio. Upstairs living rooms are common in the area to get a view of the ocean. Lots of comfy seating in the upstairs living space and a 40" HDTV to watch all the cable channels or your favorite streaming service. This room continues out to a large porch for those soothing ocean sounds and sunrise views (see photo). No need to walk far to grab a drink, there is a wet bar upstairs with its own beverage/wine refrigerator. Our home is roughly 1800 sq feet. 3 BEDS + 3.5 BATHS: All three bedrooms are on the lower level and each offer attached bathroom access. The front room has a queen bed, the middle has two twins, and a large king bed in the primary. The queen and twin bedrooms are adjoined by a jack-and-jill bathroom with a tub and shower. The primary bedroom also has a smart streaming TV, and the bathroom offers a large six foot tub, separate shower, and his & hers sinks. Another two guests can comfortably sleep upstairs, where we have a high-quality air mattress and full bath. ATTRACTIONS: A five minute walk up the beach brings you to waterfront seafood dining or the bike & beach gear rental shop. A short drive in either direction takes you to either the Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island Plantation Village, or to historic downtown with dozens of shops and restaurants. There are five state parks within a 10-15 minute drive with miles of bike trails and beautiful driftwood beaches, a lighthouse and Fort Clinch. Home also includes a large capacity washer and dryer, detergent, and linens. The only thing you need to bring are your own toiletries, groceries, and some extra beach towels (a limited number are included) This is a family vacation home and is very comfortable and well decorated.
