There is a queen size bed in the living room. With sun pouring through the south-facing windows, it's difficult to think of the house as a troglodyte dwelling, yet you'll appreciate the cool atmosphere and intense quiet provided by the stone walls and its private location away from the world. Park right outside your door and enter to the private garden terrace where children can play in safety, and you can sit and sip, dine, chat, sun and star-gaze. Each of the rooms has its own entrance from the terrace beneath its own stone arch. The master bedroom has a king bed, bedside tables with good reading lights, a small writing desk, a full-length mirror, a wardrobe, and the master bathroom. Niches carved into the walls hold local crafts and antiques, and shelves have a variety of books. The second room, connected to the master bedroom by a lockable door, has easy chairs and satellite TV and can be used as a sitting room or, with a queen bed, as a second bedroom. It has its own bathroom. The tidy kitchen is equipped for making meals, and several of Ürgüp’s best restaurants are only a short stroll downhill.
