Situated across the street from the Wolfe Island ferry, and within one block of the public dock, Village Green, and Broadway, Club Street Cottage is the perfect retreat in our historic waterfront village. The home was built in 1875. Today, it has a fully-stocked kitchen, bathroom w/washer and dryer, and comfortably sleeps 4. There is a large backyard with flower gardens, picnic table, chairs, fire pit, and a charcoal grill. The space Club Street Cottage has everything you need for a restful and rejuvenating retreat in Cape. The house is over 150 years old, one of the first in the village. The ferry, historial musuem, Chamber of Commerce, marina, and docks are across the street, and everywhere in the village is within walking distance. While you can see the water from inside the house, stepping outside to experience the sun rising and setting every day is highly recommended. The large backyard is 99% fenced-in, with flower gardens throughout the property. Come in early May for the daffodils and tulips. Hostas, black-eyed Susans, roses, daisies, purple coneflower, chamomille, lillies, yarrow, hydrangeas, gladiolas, golden glows, sunflowers, and many other varieties will be growing throughout the summer, thanks to Hope. There is a picnic table, fire pit, chairs, and a charcoal grill. The house comfortably sleeps 4 people: 2 double beds and 1 single bed on the second floor, and 1 pull out sofa in the first floor living room. A small office/study overlooking the water connects the sleeping areas. There is an eat-in kitchen with full size fridge, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, and table that seats 4-6. Plates, cups, mugs, pots, pans, and utensils are provided. There are coffee and tea essentials, including an espresso maker, French press, milk warmer, and tea kettle. The bathroom has a full bathtub and shower, as well as washer and dryer. We share plumbing with a very big tree older than the house. Be gentle and mindful to conserve water as much as possible. The living room includes a Smart TV and pull-out sofa. The space is stocked for game night! There are fans in the kitchen and living room.
