In the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Dolomites is the small village of San Vigilio di Marebbe at 1201 m.a.s.l. - a popular holiday resort in summer and winter due to its extremely sunny location. A restaurant is in direct neighbourhood (120 m), many more as well as supermarkets and other shopping facilities can be found in the centre of the village (1.2 - 2.5 km or 3 - 5 minutes by car). And for the friends of winter sports: An entrance (Skiarea Miara) to the big ski area Plan de Corones, which is also a member of the Dolomiti Superski carousel, is already 1 km away, the ski bus starts directly in front of the house.
