Welcome to our comfortable, peaceful Gig Harbor area suite. While the delightful downtown of Gig Harbor and the beautiful Puget Sound are just a few minutes away, this location is great and convenient for exploring the South Sound area of Washington State. The apartment suite is a dedicated space in the brightly lit daylight basement of our home with its own parking and private entry. The neighborhood is well established with lovely, well cared for homes and beautiful surroundings. The space Interior- Stretch out in our one bedroom apartment suite. With a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom and a roll-away bed (upon request) to set up in the living room this space can accommodate up to 3 guests (appropriate for 2 adults and 1 child). The living room has a large sofa across from the TV/entertainment center and a reading corner where you will find a selection of reading materials- including many travel books for dreaming of your next adventure. The kitchen has a full sized refrigerator/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle and dishwasher. As well as dishes, glassware and stemware, there are pots, pans, crock pot, even a mixer and bowls provided to allow for a home-cooked meal if that is what you desire. The eating space is a table height granite counter with two chairs – we have other chairs to use upon request. Accessible to the granite counter are USB plugs for your devices. Wifi is available and fast! The 2 TVs come with Roku players that give you the ability to sign-in to your streaming accounts with automatic credential removal at your chosen check-out date for your peace of mind (easy sign-in and forget it!) The Bedroom has one queen size Select Comfort bed with 2 controllers that allows you to adjust your side to the softness or firmness to your liking, soft sheets, extra blankets and many pillows to get very cozy. It also has a reading corner and a full closet with space for hanging clothes and shelves for storing other items. Another TV is also to be found in the bedroom as well as outlets with USB plug-ins. The bathroom is outfitted with the usual sink, toilet, combination tub/shower as well as an apartment-sized laundry center. Exterior- You will park in your own dedicated parking space just outside the private entry which is accessed on level ground – the entire apartment suite contains no stairs. Please Note: We do not allow EV charging from our AirBnB. Information about locations within 5 miles of our stay can be found in our "Welcome Binder". Outside the entryway is a small, private patio. It is very pleasant to sit and relax in the evening with the twinkling lights framing the view of the quiet back lawn.
