Quiet residential area, yet not far from downtown. Your "space" is mainly downstairs: separate bedroom, TV lounge/bedroom, your own toilet and shower room. We, a retired couple, live upstairs. Shared kitchen, living room and outdoor patio upstairs. Plentiful breakfast food included. The space All normal household facilities included. Free street parking, TV, Wi-Fi, lovely garden and outdoor patio with roof, especially pleasant in warm weather. Our house is on a quiet street near a nice woods with walking/jogging paths. Short drive to beautiful archipelago, many fine lakes and the famous Kolmården Zoo. Our house is only a few minutes from E4 - easy to access . Ample , fresh and varied breakfast food is provided as well as use of kitchen & fridge for snacks and light cooking if you wish. The basement bedroom has two single beds ( 90 and 80 cm) and adjoining ensuite toilet room . Also in the basement "your" TV lounge/bedroom has a new pull-out bed sofa , width 140 cm, and possibility of an additional foam mattress on the floor. Also in the basement, a shower and laundry room with bathtub. If necessary you may use the upstairs bathroom, shared with us . We can provide you with local tourist information and make suggestions for activities. Only a 5 min walk from our house, there are trams that take you to the center of downtown, with attractions such as picturesque historic mill district, restaurants,cafes, various museums, concert venues. The tram ride to downtown and train station takes only about 15 min. We are flexible regarding degree of participation in our household- you can be very independent, or, if you wish, share our common rooms. We are travelers ourselves and interested in meeting visitors, but respect your integrity and privacy. Practicalities and Clarifications: We (retired couple) do live in our house too, mainly upstairs on the main floor, while we have guests - mainly in the basement. So we share use of kitchen and outdoor patio, etc. on the main floor. Your main ”own space" is in the basement, where we give you as much privacy as possible. But of course you have full access to and use of kitchen and living room on the main floor, and the outdoor patio and garden Guest access Besides the entire basement spaces, guests may use our shared kitchen upstairs and our living and dining rooms, as well as the outside patio and garden. And , if necessary ,even our bathroom upstairs. During your stay Guests decide themselves how much/ little they wish to interact with us seniors that live upstairs on the main floor. Other things to note Sorry , no pets in the house.
