Natural light fills the house as long as the sun shines, the balcony and hot tub overlook the large private yard with views of the forest, birds, wildlife and the night sky. Bring camp chairs, yard games, binoculars, and enjoy the spacious outdoor areas. We've provided metal outdoor chairs, stone campfire ring, roasting sticks, and a park-style charcoal grill. Buy firewood locally or from us. The balcony offers a hot tub (emptied and sanitized after every check-out) and a table with seating overlooking the yard and the forest edge. Keyless entry on the side door helps you come and go with ease. Each room is individually temperature controlled with an A/C window unit, baseboard heat; bedrooms include a ceiling fan and an extra plush blanket. The kitchen has appliances, wares, essentials and amenities to get you started, as well as space for your things. You'll find a coffee drip pot, tea kettle, ground coffee, sugar and creamer. City water on tap. Open all the doors and drawers to find emergency items, grill items, cleaning supplies closet, etc. The dinner table insert, high chair, etc. are stored in closets. The laundry closet is stocked and includes space to hang delicates, an iron and board. In the living room, get cozy on the pillow back sofas. Play a board game, watch TV, laugh with friends, or snooze. You'll find a charging station, guidebook, our Guest Book with previous guest recommendations, pet items, games and books. In the hall, you'll find closets with additional items, bath linens and hampers. You're welcome to look inside every door that opens to find useful items for your stay. One closet is locked for our use. Bathroom amenities include linens, hairdryer, make-up remover, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hand soap, moisturizer, swabs, and feminine hygiene products. 3 Bedrooms: 1 king with a private bathroom. 1 double bedroom. 1 twin trundle bedroom (1 bed is tucked under the other). Each bedroom has a closet, pillows, bed linens, and a plush blanket for a little extra snuggle in your cozy. All used bedding is laundered after check-out. *Don't shelf used blankets.* Pets: We welcome well behaved dogs (2 max) with their responsible pet-people who keep them off beds, furniture, linens; tidy after them indoors and outdoors, and do other awesome-pet-people things. If bringing your dog, indicate so in your reservation, and clean up as though it was never there. Be aware: a horse and donkey live in the adjacent fields, and the close proximity to the road, highway, and thousands of acres of wilderness. Leash laws are in effect, county wide, to protect your loved ones. The Cedar Waxwing Cabin is named for the bird. Watch for them year-round in the tree tops surrounding the cabin.
