The house (approx. 100 m2) is situated approx. 45 min. from Reykjavik. The home is close to ringroad 1 and offers a good base for all major wonders Iceland has to offer (ao Geysir, Gulfoss, Thorsmork, Landmannalaugar). Up to 7 guests can stay. In addition to the house is is also possible to rent our car. It concerns a Hyundai Tucson 4x4. The car offert space for 5 persons and has enough luggagespace. The daily rentalcosts are € 90. The space The house offers 2 bedrooms, a livingroom, a bathroom (with shower, bath and toilet), a fully equiped kitchen and a storage room (with washingmachine and dryingmachine). The master bedroom has a doublesize bed (180 x 200). The second bedroom has a bunkbed (the upper bed 90 x 200, the lower bed 140 x 200). In the livingroom is a double size sleeping couch available. Besides the sleeping couch there is: - a desk available as working space. - WiFi is included in the rent. - Smart TV with access to internet. - The TV features 9 foreign channels (a.o. DR1, SVT1, NRK1, BBC Brit, Sky News, France 24, Boomerang, VH1 and National Geographic). - Blue Ray Player (for CD, DVD and Blue Ray DVD). The kitchen provides a microwave oven, a normal oven, a dishwasher, coffeemachine, waterboiler, toaster and fridge with freezer. Besides that you can dine and eat in the kitchen area on a large table. The house has a completely new interior (end 2015). For families travelling with babies a babybed and childseat for the dining table is available for free. Please let us know upfront that a baby will join you on your trip. Guest access All area's specified above can be used by guests. For guests arriving by car a parking place is available in front of the house.
