Beauty and calm surround you both inside and outside the house…The lake is beautiful and clear, and the owner, Ed, provides a rowboat and kayak, if you want to do something in addition to swimming. There's a dock that's perfect for watching sunsets with a glass of wine, or just enjoying at any time of the day. The house is amazing with windows providing beautiful views from all sides. We went for our honeymoon for three days and it was perfect- romantic, cozy, relaxing and just beautiful. ---------------------------------------- Charming one bedroom cottage situated on a spring fed lake. The cottage itself has panoramic lake views in both the bedroom and living room. Pull out twin sofa and room for an air mattress in the living room (3 person max, please). Fully stocked kitchen including refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, filtered water, etc. and fireplace (with seasoned wood). We also provide: spices, coffee, tea, condiments, ect. The cottage also has heat, a window A/C unit, ceiling fan, and entire home audio system. This cozy cottage is the perfect way to spend anywhere from a weekend away from the city or a full week vacationing in the great outdoors. This getaway is great for everyone from the family that loves adventure, yoga enthusiasts, or the couple that is looking for a quiet weekend. Guest access The guests will have access to the lake right out of their doorstep. Great for swimming, fishing, boating (kayaks and rowboat provided) or just lounging on the dock in the sun. Life vests are provided but please note use of the lake is at your own risk. We also provide a grill (with charcoal), a fire pit with seasoned food, fishing polls with lures & worms. There is also easy access to a 22 mile bike and hiking trail which runs through the property. We also gladly share our personal thoughts on various local cultural and natural attractions, restaurants/ wineries/ breweries, and art galleries.
