The home has large living spaces on the first floor and 5 bedrooms on the second floor. The wrap-around porch overlooks rolling hills and is a great spot for morning coffee or an early dinner. The property is your to explore - there are two other houses on the property, so contact me if you’re interested in renting more than one home! The space Guests will have 6 bedrooms (plus a sleeping porch off the master on the main floor) and three and a half baths on two stories in a spacious farm house. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are adjoining for a shared feel or doors close for privacy. The spacious, fully-equipped kitchen includes a Keurig and French Press with a small table for your morning coffee - or you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise view from the rocking chairs and swing on the wrap-around porch. The house sits on 28 acres with beautiful landscaping and woodsy areas to explore, including a pond for swimming or wading with a sand pile for kids (or adults!) to dig and play. Less than a mile to Carl Sandburg National Park, the Wrinkled Egg and the great restaurants and stores in the historic town of Flat Rock. Grocery stores (Ingles, Publix, Harris Teeter, Fresh Market, Hendersonville Co-op) in nearby Hendersonville. While you are welcome to enjoy our property, we want to note that anything you do is at your own risk. Other things to note This rustic house is well-loved, but it is old. Please let us know if anything does not work properly and we will take care of it. The appliances (toilets, sinks, etc...) should all be functional but may feature some rust stains. This is due to the fact that most of them are the original plumbing. The house is over 100 years old and we want to keep it’s natural charm!
