Casa Peri Ammoddu is a cozy and colorful house. It is located in Triscina di Selinunte, a seaside town easily reachable from the nearby airports of Palermo (100 Km - 1 hour) and Trapani (70 Km - 1 hour). The house is only 150 meters from the sea: it is ideal to escape from the city chaos, to return to a more intimate and simple dimension of life, recovering contact with nature and with ourselves. You live the quiet rhythms of the small village on the sea, the neighbors are welcoming and helpful people and in the space of 300 meters they meet - on the main road - small markets, grocery stores, rotisseries, ice cream parlors and everything that can serve to delight to savor the Sicilian cuisine or to satisfy their needs (also the pharmacy and the medical guard nearby). The house is located near the archaeological park of Selinunte. The entrance to the park on the Triscina side has recently been inaugurated. The house consists of an external veranda, follows a very spacious kitchen-living room, equipped with all the furnishings (dishes, pots, glasses, bowls, cutlery ... nothing is missing!). The bedrooms are two, for a total of 5 beds, are spacious and also equipped with everything you need (sheets, bedspreads, blankets) and surround what we think is the most beautiful part of the house: a fragrant garden interior dominated by a large lemon tree that embraces the sky. Here there is also a large barbecue area where you can organize nice barbecues, inebriated by the scent of orange blossom. And finally, a bathroom with an internal shower and ... even a comfortable outdoor shower! Inside the house there is a small storage room where you keep stocks. Away from the tight rhythms of everyday life it is nice to rediscover, in the summer evenings or the first warm spring suns, the musicality of the waves that caress the shoreline and the smell of saltiness that invades the rooms. It is called "Peri Ammoddu" not by chance: in Sicilian Peri ammoddu means "Feet in water" and is a phrase used to indicate everything that is so close to the sea to be part of it. The beach is wide and stretches for miles along a coast of golden sand among the most beautiful in Sicily; the Mediterranean Sea here shows off its most striking colors, under a sun so warm and luminous to highlight its deepest clarity. All around you are uncontaminated nature and the history of the many peoples who came to this land and who made it a very precious "Garden in the middle of the sea".
