We are happy to be hosting again after a four year hiatus! The cottage and surrounding gardens have been beautifully transformed and updated. Established in 2001, our guest house sits tucked away at the edge of our tropical landscape nursery and orchards. After a busy day out exploring, enjoy kicking back in your peaceful home away from home. Located on rural North Shore agricultural land, we are only a ten minute drive to both secluded, pristine beaches and hopping Kilauea town. Our guests love the enclosed outdoor shower and bath directly off the indoor half bath. A screened lanai looks out over a peaceful meditation courtyard. There are comfortable seating and lounging areas, both inside and out. The bedroom is done in shades of cream and white and the king size bed is covered in luxurious linens. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator and sink, toaster oven, two burner gas stove top and microwave. We provide all kitchen and dining essentials along with a washer and dryer inside the cottage for your use. The cottage comes stocked with yoga mats, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, picnic cooler and shopping bags for your excursions. Our central location is ideal. We are just a ten minute drive to Kilauea. There you will find shopping, restaurants, a yoga studio, gym, pharmacy, post office, gas station and other conveniences. Our farm is 50 minutes from the Lihue Airport, 20 minutes to Hanalei Bay and 35 minutes to the end of the road in Haena. We are longtime Kauai residents who are happy to share our favorite spots with you. Please note that there is a five night minimum stay at the Hideaway. We invite you to slow down, relax and unwind to truly savor all that Kauai has to offer. The Hideaway is a special retreat created for you, either alone or with a loved one; an ideal place to rejuvenate, rekindle and renew. We established our working farm over 43 years ago. You'll see us on the farm tending to the nursery. Our orchards produce macadamia nuts, coconuts, oranges, tangelos, lemons, limes, avocados, mango, lychee and longon.
