This is a quaint country escape. Separate door from rest of house allows for total privacy. Access to basement (2 cats) and giant barn. Enormous field/forest to explore. Slightly isolated from town center but neighbors close enough if needed. Harmless wild animals are a daily sight. Down country road 1/4M is an amazing farm. Farm animals, fresh eggs & meat if desired. Mornings are glorious with light floating the property. Very pure water/ fresh air aplenty. Additional outdoor shower (May-Nov)! The space Guests can use outdoor dining table on the covered porch. They can use the washer/ dryer as well as the OUTDOOR SHOWER! (There’s a full indoor bathroom too, don’t worry:) they can use the meadow and forest behind it. Exploration of the barn is allowed upon request. And of course the whole guest unit is theirs to enjoy. Guest access There is a side, covered porch for outdoor access. Washer and Dryer units available in basement. Other things to note There are many wonderful local things to explore, both on foot or by car. The real location of the Woodstock ‘69 music festival is just 25 min away. Farmers markets and fly fishing also nearby. Horse farms nearby offer riding. Our estate has a 2.5 acre backyard field and a 2+ acre forest behind it. Every evening deer and other friendly creatures saunter through. No hunting allowed.
