This Log Cabin is in The Sequoia National Forest right off historic Sawmill Rd. The cabin is very spacious, fun and cozy! 7.5 acres of property! Explore the land, animal watch, hike, swim, raft, ride, ski, sun bathe, fish or relax all day! Also available for weddings!! Forced air central heat, and Two large Evaporative air Cooler for the hot months. The space You will have amazing views in all directions at a 3600 ft. elev. This extremely clean log cabin is +2,700 sq. ft. which is large enough to accommodate an extended family reunion comfortably. We also have a new outdoor porta potty that is serviced weekly fresh and clean just for your stay to help with the morning bathroom rush, and this has been a great success with our larger guest groups. New high end King, and Queen's memory foam mattresses, and two bunk beds, 13 beds 2 couches. Multitude of amenities. Large evaporator (swamp) cooler for the warm months, keeps the home very cool. Enjoy the high speed WiFi, board games, Smart TV, darts, corn hole, yoga, meditation, reading, the new Indoor/Outdoor ping pong table, or just relaxing in a hammock for a nap! We are perfectly centrally located to all activities. Numerous great local places to eat like Nelda's Diner, Paradise Cove, Kern River Brewing and the Cracked Egg Cafe. Guest access You will be able to enjoy the entire house except for the secured master closet and work shed outside. Other things to note *Sawmill is an old logging road fully paved, only 1.5 miles to our spot, which can be steep, and winding at times, with beautiful boulders, and narrow passage along the mountain side, with turnouts to let a vehicle pass by, Great views, and a small adventure in itself. However, the road is only 1.5 miles, and safe, many Highland residence live further up, and travel it daily. This is God's country up here, and away from it all, you couldn't have all the wild life, and views without the elevation. We usually go up in our Prius. In heavy winter conditions, chains are a good idea, but haven't been necessary yet. * This is NOT a party cabin, this is a quiet mountain retreat (Family, Reunions, people who enjoy the peace, and quiet of the forest), and expect our guests to observe this. *Please be respectful of our neighborhood, our neighbors are retired, and lovely people who have my phone number, and will notify me if necessary. - We have a water well so you will enjoy a fluoride and chemical free bath or shower! - Enjoy seeing many birds, deer and occasional coyotes. This is real nature!
