This two-story cottage is nested in a lovely rambling garden on the Bolinas Mesa. Both the cottage and main house are an artisan oasis, built by Paulette and David over the course of forty years living here in Bolinas! The space The first floor of the cottage includes a kitchenette, breakfast nook and living room. There is a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa located in the living room for additional guests. Attached to the common area is a private powder room, as well as a separate rainfall shower room. The first floor opens up to a private garden deck, where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee! The primary bedroom is located on the second floor, just up a spiral staircase. The bedroom is cozy, bright and sunny, with a view of Mount Tam. It also features a workspace overlooking the garden. We offer off-street parking and a private entrance. Along the path to the cottage, there is an outdoor surf shower to use after a day at the beach! Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the cottage and adjoining deck with full privacy. We always welcome you to enjoy the garden. Other things to note At least one person must be 24 years old or older to stay at my cottage. Bolinas offers an array of fun things to do: hiking in the Point Reyes National Seashore, surfing, kayaking, beach combing and birding, to name a few. There are several restaurants featuring local organic produce, and a foot stomping Smiley's saloon with great live music and a pool hall. We also have a lovely museum with ongoing exhibitions and an interesting historical exhibition.
