This 1800s bank barn has a 1 bedroom king bed with 1/2 bath connected by a spiral staircase to the downstairs living room featuring a full bath & vintage designer furnishing. There is also a seasonal glamping room with a queen bed The space ----Please take the time to read the whole listing as we get many inquiries and most questions can be answered within this text---- About this space This authentic 1800s Pt Pleasant bank barn has 1 bedroom with a seasonal pool, on a bucolic 1-acre property 15 minutes from New Hope, Lambertville and Frenchtown. Minutes away from Van Sant Airport, High Rocks, Lake Nockamixon, and the Delaware canal. This charmingly rustic though newly renovated home has modern amenities mixed with eclectic antiques, central AC and a brand new Bosch kitchen. The property is perfect for couples who want to enjoy peaceful country life without sacrificing modern comforts. ROOM DETAILS The bedroom has a king bed with Wumsatta Dream Zone 850 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, two vintage bamboo night stands and vintage brass lamps with burlap shades. There is a vintage Ed Wormley dresser and an antique metal clothing rack to hang your personal items. Newly installed warm tiger wood floors and six newly installed windows. Directly off the bedroom is a half bathroom with colorful wallpaper and beautiful brass mirror. There are crushed velvet black out curtains for a great nights sleep. There is a seasonal glamping room available May-November with heating and cooling. The room has a queen bed that sleeps 2. If you are staying in this room you will need to walk outside and into the main living area of the barn to use the bathroom and kitchen which is only 5 steps away. The Living Room has original exposed hand-hewn beams, tile floors, and gorgeous found field stone walls. The living room has a new small green velvet sectional, a vintage peach velvet lounge chair and two mid century wooden chairs with distressed Southwestern upholstery nestled upon a vintage pink Moroccan rug and a vintage brass claw foot leaded glass coffee table. There is a 42” TV with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. There is no cable. There is a small round dining table with 4 1950s vintage Hickory blue leather and mahogany nailhead library arm chairs. The Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils, Keurig, condiments, oils, vinegars, spices, sugar, salt and pepper. There is a 36” Bosch induction stove and Bosch refrigerator as well a dishwasher, toaster and microwave. The full bath has a shower and a vanity with exposed stone walls. Guests will have private and exclusive use of the yard, pool, pool house and house. Unlike other listings there are no tricks, there will be no one using the property aside from you and your guest. Everything in the photos will be for your private and exclusive use. There is a stone patio with 3 Acapulco chairs and a Solo stove fire pit. We have plenty of wood for your use stacked under the overhang. There is sectional seating under the overhang for enjoying the shade or being outside to enjoy the sound of the rain. ***Please note, much like our other listings this one is full of vintage furniture, antiques and art which most people find charming. If you are of the opinion that vintage/antique furniture = rough/gross /shabby/ratty then please stay somewhere else because we will not be a good match*** POOL SEASON: April 10-Oct 13 ***The pool is not heated The pool area has a built in charcoal Fire Magic grill and fireplace with a beautiful wooden CB2 dining table and seating. High-speed Internet is available throughout the property so it is possible to work remotely poolside. There are 4 CB2 pool loungers as well as two modern oversized chairs for your enjoyment. ****Please note the outdoor furniture by the pool is put away for the season in mid-late November depending on the weather. ****The furniture by the house and under the overhang are left out year round. A seasonal pool house which houses additional pool towels, seating, a sink and mini fridge and can be used as an outdoor changing space and is a very cute space to hang out in. ****** A landscaping service comes to mow once a week on Fridays. ****** The pool company comes to vacuum the pool on Tuesdays. Please take note: The bank barn is a unique space with the quirks of an old building so please set your expectation appropriately. While we do have great wifi that works at the pool and central air, the septic system is sensitive so please do not flush anything but single ply toilet paper. The septic system is really sensitive and cannot handle anything flushed in the toilet except for single ply toilet paper which is provided at the house. There are absolutely NO FLUSHABLE WIPES allowed to be flushed No children are allowed and absolutely no parties. This is a cigarette smoke free property. Cigarette smoking is prohibited and there is a $150 remediation fee if any evidence of cigarette smoking is found. There is one motion activated camera above the main door to verify check in/check out. Guest access you will have exclusive use of the entire property Other things to note Please feel free to open all of the shutters to let the maximum amount of light into the space The paths are small stones, bring flip flops or sandals to spare your feet! The eastern PA power grid can be very unreliable. During summer storms power can go out but is typically quickly restored. The power can go out sometimes for periods of time during storms and is restored as soon as possible. We are not responsible for power outages and will not give refunds for power outages which are out of our control.
