Italian luxury house with sea views in holiday area and access to pool and beach
The price includes electricity, bedlinned and end cleaning. Interior design The house is an extended A-house of 105 sqm, distributed on about 60 sqm on the ground floor with living room / kitchen and a bedroom, as well as bath / toilet with bidet. Further washing machine. The kitchen contains, besides gas stove, electric oven and dishwasher, also (Danish) coffee machine, (Italian) caffeterina, hand mixer, blender and necessary equipment and service for 8 people. The first floor contains 2 bedrooms - one with a large balcony with fantastic sea views, as well as a bathroom / toilet with the bidet. Furthermore, small rear balcony. We use it for drying, but the evening sun in the low season is also enjoyed here (in other seasons you have plenty of sun and only want shade). The terrace is covered and has an outdoor kitchen and barbecue. The living room The living room is small according to Danish conditions, but is necessary when the Calabrian wind or when a heavy rain shower deprives us of the opportunity to sit out on the terrace. The living room consists of 2 double sofas with a small coffee table in between. From the sofas there is a fantastic view over the lower part of Villa Collina, as well as the harbor and the sea. Opposite there is a small sideboard. There is TV with digital satellite receiver (DVB-S Free-to-air) receiver and DVD / CD player / home Cinema. Kitchen As there is both indoor and outdoor kitchen, there is plenty of room. The outdoor kitchen is described under the terrace. The kitchen contains equipment for 8 people, as well as electric oven, gas cooker, extractor hood with extractor, fridge and small freezer as well as dishwasher. There is also a Danish coffee machine, Italian cafeteria, hand mixer, hand blender and much more. As the dining table is rarely used, we have chosen a small pull-out table. Therefore, it does not fill anything when it just stands as an outlet, but it can be pulled out so that there can be 8 around. The lamp can be moved accordingly. Rooms The 3 bedrooms are almost identical in size and all are furnished with double beds (200 * 160). In one room there are 2 extra beds in addition, so the total number of beds can be up to 8. The ground floor room has a narrow but high and well utilized built-in closet, covered by a curtain. The rooms on the first floor have large wardrobes, where we have, however, lock half in one room for our private matters. All rooms have shutters that effectively keep warm and light out, while the curtains (in Italian style) are for decoration only. There is also an iron and ironing board. balcony The house also has a balcony attached to the one bedroom. From here is a formidable view, especially in the evening, where the flashing lights from the many coastal towns provide a fantastic experience. There is room for a couple of chairs, and is a nice place to have your evening coffee, or a cold drink in the summer heat. Terraces with and without roofing The house is born with a large covered terrace facing east / water. This one has an outdoor kitchen and barbecue. The roof and terrace go throughout the width of the house, but one half can only be used in the width of a single chair. In addition, we have made 2 sun terraces in the garden (see this one), a morning terrace in shelter and with a sea view, as well as a large sun terrace next to the covered terrace. The garden Once the driveway, walkways and sun terraces are taken away there is not much garden left. It has been tried in a simple style with Italian plants and grasses, including citrus trees and olive trees. The lower garden has a practical shower, just to rinse off salt / sand after a walk on the beach, or just for a scrubber when lying in the sun. The garage 57 sqm, so there is room for more than the car. We have 2 bikes (cheap discount models, so they probably don't hold up to the big hike) and a little beach stuff, as well as rackets and tennis balls. This is also where garden furniture is kept out of season. Not that they can not be used all year, more that in Calabria it often blows in heavy breaths and the chairs can fly around - so more a fuse when there is none. Our car is in the garage, so you come in your own car / rental car and then unfortunately it will have to keep outside. We have in one corner a locked area where we have our private storage and other things that are not covered by the rental, as well as all the clutter that we have no other place to do.
