Our cottage is a haven of tranquility just a few steps from family-friendly Stinson Beach and a 5-minute walk to town. Surrounded by private decks and a fenced yard (hammock, chaise lounges, hot-water outdoor shower, outdoor dining area and a gas BBQ), there are relaxing spots all over the property to chill with a book or hang out with family. Well-behaved dogs allowed! Please be aware of this in case you have allergies. The space The cottage is surrounded by decks and a lovely landscaped yard with a sense of privacy. Rustic modern decor indoors, hardwood and Spanish-tile floors, high ceilings and skylights for plenty of light. Well-appointed rooms where we provide luxury bedding, a newly remodeled fully-equipped kitchen, a Netflix streaming TV, and Murphy bed that can be folded to give the house ample space. There is an ocean view from the upper deck next to the master bedroom. In addition to intelligent space heaters, a wood-burning fireplace is an option to warming this cozy house. We love dogs, a small (up to 30 lbs) dog is allowed! We provide some dog toys and treats and a small dog bed. Parking for one car in the driveway and another car in front of the property. Upstairs, a young child can sleep in the double bed in the L-shaped sitting room adjacent to the master bedroom (no walls between these 2 spaces). The downstairs queen Murphy bed is good for a second couple or an older child or teen. This is a dog-friendly cottage. Please be aware of this in case you have allergies. We clean very well after each guest (including damp mopping floors). No refunds will be given for allergic reactions. Many hiking trails start close by, on nearby Mount Tamalpais or Muir Woods. Bolinas, Tomales Bay, and Point Reyes National Seashore are all a short drive away.
