Experience rustic elegance in this lovely log and timber lodging on 20 private acres in the Shenandoah Valley. River Bluff Farm is located above the banks of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River near New Market, VA. The historic and beautiful Shenandoah Valley provides much to see and do. We’re conveniently located for access to I-81, New Market Battlefield, Shenandoah Caverns, wineries, breweries, Shenandoah National Park, and year round outdoor activities. Dogs allowed for additional fee. The space This a lovely log cabin sitting above the North Fork of the Shenandoah River. Relax on the huge deck or climb to the top of the bluff for panoramic views of the mountains and farm land. Lots of space inside and out. Many guests comment that "the home so much bigger than pictured!" Beautiful guest room views include the surrounding countryside, Shenandoah River, and Massanutten Mountains. Each room has its own artfully designed private bath, completely up to date. The baths are supplied with lush towels, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryers. Two bedrooms have queen beds; third can be arranged as two twins or a King. Guests may extend accommodations with a pull out couch in the Living Room, futon in the Loft and air mattress to put where needed. Our lodging has central air and heat. All rooms have Wi-Fi access for staying in touch. Sit on the back porch with your favorite beverage and listen to the waters of the North Fork slide along around the bend and down a small riffle. Hike to the top of the bluff for beautiful views of the Allegany and Massanutten mountain ranges. Put in or take out your kayaks, canoes, and tubes on our river frontage. We provide a ladder and floating dock over the stoop river bank (use caution). In the cabin, we provide a variety of games, puzzles and books. Guest access Our guest have exclusive access to the entire home and and are free to use the property. We live in a different home at the other end of the property assuring your privacy but we are available if needed. River Bluff Farm Bed and Breakfast offers three bed rooms, each with a private bath. The home provides plenty of gathering areas or quiet spots throughout: the main living room; the log cabin sitting area with fireplace; a dining area; a small, complete kitchen; a downstairs half-bath; and a cozy upstairs seating area. Outdoors, facing the riverside meadow and Shenandoah River, you’ll find a large deck with gas grill, tables, and chairs, and a covered porch. A large flat area next to river is perfect to enjoy relaxing, s'mores at the fire pit or outdoor games (bocci and croquet provided). Wi-fi is available throughout the home and on the deck and back porch. Central heating and air conditioning keep you comfortable year round. Guests also have use of a canoe.
