LOCATION Ancient house (1600) in the heart of the center, but very quiet. Guests find it excellent both for work and to visit the city and as a convenient base for their "Tuscany Trip" or as a place to stop before departure by plane (we book a taxi, if necessary). It is located 70 meters from the birthplace of Galileo Galilei and 250 from many places of interest. From Galileo Galilei International Airport - 2.7 km on foot and 3.2 km by car. From Central railway station - 1.3 km on foot (main road of the village) and 1.7 km by car. The house. A so-called “colonial” model, it is located on the second floor of a three-storey house. Interior: parquet in all rooms, high ceilings with original wooden and terracotta beams (typical “Tuscan” style); furnished with antique-mixed modern furniture. Air conditioning system in each room, each with its own remote control. You will find washing machine and dryer, ironing board, iron, cleaning kit (broom, cencio, detergents of various kinds) The rooms: comfortable mattresses and sheets provided by professional laundries. Provided a set of 3 towels per person (small, medium, large). Antique furniture and parquet. Excellent conditioning in every room. Kitchen: stove, oven (baking paper), microwave, fridge and freezer. Equipment: plates, cutlery, glasses (also for wine), sponges and detergent for dishes. Oil, salt, pepper and some welcome liquors. Coffee machine with pods (free), tea and herbal teas. Detergents for dishes and dryers. Bathroom: simple and functional; shampoo-shower and soap (Prija) are provided. Air conditioning/heating: one air conditioner in each room, each equipped with its own remote control. Possibility of central heating for the winter. For children: cot with linen and pillow, high chair, changing table (disposable bottle for emergency). Living room. Bright. A sofa (potentially read, but not recommended for this purpose), two comfortable armchairs, dining table. TV and Netflix available, Bluetooth music system. The apartment is equipped with a self check-in system and any information is provided the day before (or in the morning) of arrival. Possibility to leave your luggage as long as necessary. Host always available for any need/information for home or city. Tourism/“city tax”. The tax is requested by the Municipality of Pisa but the structure takes care of it. Parking Paid roads (8 am - 8 pm) within a radius of about 250 meters. Small free roads at 600 meters and large free parking at 1.7 km away.
