Oakforge Cottage is a 3 storey house in the Market Town of Kirkbymoorside. It offers comfortable accommodation for up to 5 people (and up to 2 well behaved dogs).PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE NO OUTSIDE SPACE FOR THE EXERCISING OF DOGS. With a fully equipped kitchen, living room with realistic simulated log burner and two bathrooms, guests will instantly feel at home in our warm, well furnished, self-catering holiday cottage. Check-in time is after 3PM, Check out is now 10.00AM. The space Although there are double yellow lines directly outside our cottage, these stop about 20 feet from our front door. On-street parking is free and we’ve never had a problem getting a space quite close by. The local parking wardens are very friendly and won’t mind if you have to park briefly on the yellow lines to load/unload luggage, children, dogs! 😁 We want you to feel at home when you stay at Oakforge Cottage. So, we have provided high quality furnishings with luxurious bedding and the finest soft towels for your comfort. The house is fully central heated and our simulation log burner adds that extra special warmth without the mess and unnecessary work! The family bathroom has a freestanding bath and a generous shower cubicle, whilst the en-suite in the master bedroom has a bath with shower over. At the rear of the house is a kitchen-diner with oven, hob and sink. The freestanding fridge freezer can easily accommodate your fresh and frozen provisions whilst a fold-out table and chairs seats up to five people for meal time. The living room houses the child-friendly, opti-mist, simulated log burner and is equipped with a 40" HD Smart TV and comfy seating for all the family. We have now added a few popular board games for those quiet nights in. Wifi is available throughout the house. Bedrooms are all furnished in modern contemporary style with high thread count cotton sheets and generous snuggly duvets. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house. However, please be aware that we have no outside space. (Why would you need any with the fabulous North Yorkshire moors on the doorstep!?) At the rear of the property is a small courtyard garden which belongs to our lovely neighbour Marjorie. Access is available if necessary in emergencies but we do not own this yard so we would ask that guests respect Marjorie’s privacy. It is NOT to be used for the exercising of dogs. Should guests wish to bring bicycles, it is possible that the porch could be used to keep them safe, however it is only considered big enough for a maximum of two. Other things to note Our property is strictly NO SMOKING THROUGHOUT. Please respect this. Any evidence of guests disregarding this house rule will incur further charges via Airbnb. I Please note- NO DOGS (or cats) on the beds or furniture please. Extra charges may be incurred for cleaning. We have recycling bins in the porch which are clearly marked, one for plastic/tins, the other is for glass. Everything else can go in the grey bin which is outside by the bay window. Thank you!
