The interior walls are polyurethaned plywood with a slight white wash. The double bed and fold-out double sofa bed are both new. Please be aware this is an authentic Arthurs Pass bach - a mountain cabin of about 42sqm. It is recommended for ascetic persons, looking for simple accommodation. The flush toilet is in an annex to the entrance porch. Ideal base for tramping, mountaineering or Coast to Coast race training. Short 950m walk to cafes and Visitor Centre. Note that there is a railway through the village and coal trains arrive then pass through most nights.
