The Mansion sits on East Lake. There are 8 bedrms 3.5 baths. Burled walnut doors & banisters, Italian tile floors and art deco appointments. The home clearly was designed with entertaining in mind. Treborgarth is stylishly decorated with still lifes and landscapes by local artists. A hallway is covered with a tromp l'oeil mural with cherubs perched cheerfully amid a temple in clouds. Please ask for quotes for events like weddings and reunions. Rate for the mansion is $995/night. The space There is a gazebo on the lake, a formal english garden and a picnic grove and a sandy beach. There is a propane gas grill and a dock for fishing. There is a double kayak and a paddle boat for lake use. All guests using either are required to wear life jackets that are provided. For adult and teen fun there is the New Jersey Motorsports Park, which also has a go cart track. The Ocean City beach and boardwalk are just 35 miles away as is Philadelphia and Longwood Gardens. Boating and fishing is also available both on the Cohansey river and the Maurice River. There is a splash park and a small zoo in the Bridgeton City Park only a mile from the estate. The Wheaton Arts Center is 8 miles and there are several very nice restaurants in the area. Guest access Guest can rent the full mansion that sleeps up to 16. Other things to note The Southern New Jersey Bay Coastal area is unique and undeveloped. The Maurice and Cohansey Rivers provide opportunities for Bird watching, sailing and other nature walks. Historically significant buildings are walking distance to the property; including the Old Broad St Church and Cemetery, Potter's Tavern and the Bridgeton Library that houses a unique display of Native American artifacts.
