Beautiful circa 1820's log cabin overlooking Harmon Field Horse Rings in picturesque Tryon, NC. Spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath home with full kitchen and laundry. French doors open to wonderful deck with spectacular views of mountain ranges great for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Close to downtown Tryon, short drive to TIEC, Hendersonville, and Asheville. Great area for hiking, biking, tubing, Saluda Gorge Zip line, fishing, quaint antique shops, gift shops, and art galleries all around. The space The cabin features a queen bed on the main floor with a separate full bath and laundry. Also on this level is a spacious sitting and dining area with beautiful rustic antique fireplace fitted with gas logs (available during winter months) and a separate full kitchen. Up the antique chestnut stairs is a large single room with a double bed, a full size futon sofa for additional 1 or 2 guests and a second full bath. A large comfortable deck runs across the front of the cabin and across the street is a 35 acre park with walking trails, track, tennis courts, Pacolet river with swimming, and horse rings. Great for early morning dog walks! Nearby Tryon has several antique shops, the downtown has restaurants, art galleries, a great fine arts center (TFAC), movie theater, and local live theater. Tryon is centrally located with easy access to Tryon International Equestrian Center, Biltmore House, Asheville, Hendersonville, Saluda, and Greenville, SC. There are numerous craft breweries, great biking and hiking trails, lakes, fishing, shopping, kayaking, canoeing, and more. Also great for just relaxing on the porch and reading your favorite book (if you forgot one there is a great independent bookstore downtown). We are perfect for all family groups, roommates, friends get together weekends, horse enthusiasts and history buffs. We do not allow large parties or folks staying that are not included in the original reservation.
