Also worth seeing is Sant’Antonio, the oldest village in Corsica and one of the most beautiful in France, which rises like an eagle's nest on a hill and can be reached on foot from Algajola (beautiful hiking trail). Aregno has one of the most beautiful pisan chapels in Corsica. Calvi, L'île-Rousse and St. Florent are worth a trip and can be reached by the famous old railway or by car. The magnificent nature of the Balagne invites you to take long walks and countless hikes through a varied landscape: the Ostriccione river delta with its wild cows and horses, the Desert des Agriates with its lonely dream beaches and the forest of Bonifatu, to name just a few examples call.
