Privacy abounds at Sandy Cut Cabins Crooked Cabin, only a short two miles from downtown Saluda. The cabin is tucked away in 15 acres of mountain land. While being surrounded by nature can be an enjoyable and relaxing break from hectic day to day life, please realize this cabin is in the woods and we have carpenter bees and camel crickets along with some ants. We strive to keep pests at bay but they are part of mountain life. Shared spaces include the designated fire pit and the overlook bench. The space The cabin is located in the woods with 2 other cabins, each secluded from the others. Since it’s in the woods, wildlife may visit on occasion. Please remember that they are wild. The driveway is steep at the bottom but levels off. You may need low gear but keep it consistent without hesitation and you should be fine. Guest access Guests have access to the whole cabin and the outdoor fire pit along with the overlook bench. Other things to note We’re located in the mountains and the driveway is very steep. However, most guests manage without much trouble. Trucks/hybrids have more trouble with the incline. AWD isn’t required to drive up. We aren’t responsible for interruptions of WiFi service.
