Great place to recharge and be with nature The space Your space is 100 feet away from our home. It’s a guest apartment above our garage workshop. You will walk up 18 steps to get to the entrance door. Once inside is an open floor plan. Including the trundle bed that pulls out into twin beds. Dining table to eat..play games or use as your work station. Although we don’t have a full kitchen, we have everything you may need to prepare some simple meals. An induction cooktop, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and lFrench press Mini size refrigerator. Bbq utensils for the BBQ on back patio. The Bathroom has a big soaker tub overlooking the lake and valley. Walk in tiled shower. Bedroom has King size bed with French doors that open up to the back patio where you can relax and unwind. Grill something on the BBQ and enjoy the quietness of the Mountains and Kern River Valley. You will see beautiful stars at night, and when it’s a Full Moon it’s breathtaking. A little slice of Heaven ! Guest access Guests can access the guest house and park on the right side by the stairs. Other things to note Bring your hiking boots, mountain bikes, kayaks or paddle boards to experience the wonderful playground we have in the Kern River Valley. Also to all of the Fishermen bring your gear! The Lake and Kern River will be calling you. There are many outfitters to fill all of your adventures... rafting, biking, fly fishing and more. We have a local airport you can fly into and we will pick you up. Enjoy all the local cafes and restaurants. Kernville has wonderful museum along with many antique shops to browse about.
