This villa is ideal for tourists as a base or returning Expat Sri Lankans on Holidays. The space This beautiful open plan family home with large ground floor dining, sitting-room and verandah also has a marvelous lake view. This villa can comfortably sleep up to 15 persons in our 5 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms with attached toilets (solar powered hot water). The tall surrounding walls around the 3 sides of villa gives you complete privacy and seclusion from neighbor’s with only a picket fence separating the villa from the 55-acre Lake Front. Wake up with no worries at MyHoliday Home Villa, where breakfast is provided free of charge. Throughout your stay, choose from a variety of delicious a la cart dining options. The villa even has in-house cooking amenities such as BBQ facilities as well. There are plenty of things for the kids to do, plus lots of lovely spaces for adults to relax and enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine at the villa. There is an extensive array of indoor and outdoor games & equipment that have been made available at the villa. Guest access The Entire House is for Exclusive Use with our in house staff to Cook for you, Clean up and Tidy that comes as an additional privilege when booking this Holiday Home. The staff have their own section (main kitchen, staff quarters) that is separate, and the guest section of the main house can be locked where the staff cannot enter if needed. The staff works for you and you set the rules. Generally the staff cleans the garden and house starting 6am and are done by 8am. The chef will be busy making your breakfast for the morning. Once the front cleaning is done they will be there in the staff section or main kitchen area where they watch TV & hang around until needed. The staff are there to assist and you could decide what you need help in or not. Other things to note INCASE OF SUDDEN POWER CUTS In the event of sudden power cuts, our staff will turn on the solar power standby in the villa. This standby power should generally last for approx 3 hours if used sparingly (Room AC's must be turned off). We could make a standby generator available at a cost if the guest requests it (not necessary really). INVITING OTHER GUEST OR HAVING PARTIES AT VILLA Yes visitors and parties are allowed and there will be a charge for any visitor staying more than 3 hours or more at the villa, using the pool, etc (Rs 1,500 / USD 5 per person). Visitors staying overnight (more than the mentioned Airbnb Guests guest count) will be charged Rs 5,000 / USD 17 per head. You can have a party at the villa and invite visiting guests too. We have all the chafing dishes, cutlery, etc to host a party for 50 guests. Having a party with music / noise in the afternoon is no issue at all but after 11pm the music and noise must be reduced. AIRPORT PICK UP & DROPS, TRAVEL EXCURTIONS We can help arrange your Airport Pickup & Drops including sending our villa staff member to meet & greet you'll at the Airport. Please inquire so we could provide you with a quotation. VILLA CHEF & STAFF (2 to 3 MEMBERS DEPENDING ON GUEST Nos) When you make the booking the staff works for you and you set the rules. The staff are there to assist and you could decide what you need help in or not. Generally, the staff cleans the garden and house starting 6am and are done by 8am. The chef will be busy making your meal orders. The staff will lay the tables, do the dishes and close up the villa & doors windows at night (if the guest has not already done so). The staff have their own staff section in the back main kitchen area where they watch TV & hang around until needed. FREE BREAKFAST & ODERING OTHER MEALS Kindly note your breakfast is already included in the pricing and do let the staff know your preferred breakfast choice the night before and they will have it ready at your requested time. Also you could order all meals / juices from the villa. The villa has its own menu card but you could use this as a guide and let the chef know your preferred meal choices and they will be priced accordingly. Please let the staff know your meal preferences early (minimum 3 hours before) as the staff will need to purchase certain groceries or vegies that are not at the villa (town is 3km). BRINGING OUTSIDE FOOD OR PROVIDING GROCERIES FOR CHEF TO MAKE YOUR MEALS Yes, this is allowed, and the villa has its own Fridge & Deep Freezer for guest to use which is situated in the bottom hall area. You could also buy your favourite made stuff (drinks, ice creams, pizza, beers) from town and store it in the guest fridge for your own use. You could also provide all the provisions/ groceries if you want our chef to prepare your meals. If you are going to do the marketing & provide all the provisions to our staff, there will be no other charges for making the food from the villa. However, if our staff has to go to do marketing and bring the provisions / groceries, then you will be charged at a la carte rates. KAYAKS or BOAT TRIPS ORGANISED BY VILLA WILL BE CHARGED * Use of one Kayak for half & hour is LKR 3,000/= (USD $10) per 3 persons and Rs 5,000/= USD $ 18/hour for up to 6 persons to ride for 1 hour * If you use 2 kayaks the price is LKR 6,000 for half & hour and Rs 9,000/= One hour. Please note that guest must wear the lifejackets at all the times and persons after alcohol should not get on the kayaks. There will be a local guy to accompany you who knows about the lake and to ensure you'll take safety precautions. BOAT TRIPS (6 ADULT PAX + 1 CHILD). Guest can enjoy taking their breakfast, evening tea or a beer enjoying the scenery on the lake. The price for a 45 min to 1 hour trip will coast Rs 7,500/= or USD $ 25 per trip.
