Welcome to the Bunk House. Come experience the "pretty place" in a 420 sq ft mini-house designed to provide a comfortable and secluded space within a ranch setting. It is located 20 minutes from COTA and a mere 30 minutes to AUS. We are 10 mi. from the BBQ capital of Texas in Lockhart. P-N Ranch is a working cattle ranch on 62 acres. The Bunk house has beautiful views of the hay fields and the pecan grove. It has a dock on a huge tank that is stocked with fish. Enjoy the country! The space The Bunk House built in January 2019 has a queen size bed with a separate area that has a sleeper sofa, desk, TV and DVD player (small dvd collection/no cable). We also offer free wifi (although it isn't very strong) We use Verizon and get good cell reception (other carriers are reported not to be very good). The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, coffee pot. A loft over looks the queen size bed; it has 2 inch foam mattress, perfect for kids (listed as floor mattress on description). A Weber grill/charcoal provided (no open fires). Our home sits just 50 yards from the Bunk House and has an above ground pool (open to you in the summer). It is possible for you to see cows, deer, turkeys, cats and dogs. Fishing is available for a small fee ($20.00) with tackle provided. If you need flexible check in and out times just ask. There is a private drive-way for one car next to the house; a fence surrounds the drive way and the house to keep the cows out. Additional parking is available at the main house, please note that the house is located within a pasture that is used by cows; so beware of cow pies. There is a gated entry into the ranch. I will allow some pets with prior approval but there will be a pet fee of $25.00 Guest access This is a private guest house with private entrance. Guests will have access to other areas with prior notification. Other things to note Swimming, fishing is at your risk. Release of Liability needs to be signed for these extra activities.
