Uniquely situated, stunning, medieval village home with gorgeous panorama view
This 15th century picturesque villa holds a commanding position within the historic hilltop walled village of Barchi. Situated on a promontory next to a tree-filled park, Casa Vista Panoramica enjoys a peaceful and romantic setting with unobstructed views of the mountains, valleys and Adriatic Sea. Tastefully renovated in traditional Italian country-style, the house offers self-catering accommodation of excellent quality with all modern home comforts. There are three floors comprising an open-plan kitchen/living area, external patio dining, two double-bedrooms, two bathrooms and breathtaking open roof terrace. Barchi is nestled in the undulating Marche countryside which offers a range of varied & interesting activities. A 20-minute drive to the beach or the mountains, visitors can also enjoy trips to the majestic cities of Urbino, Gubbio, San Marino, Fano and Senigallia. Those preferring simple relaxation can enjoy country walks, wine tasting or just the views! Guest Book - 2008: M Spencer 'June 2008 I, my husband and a friend had a very comfortable stay at Casa Vista Panoramica. The house truly lives up to its name as the view is spectacular. The house is nicely furnished and had all the amenities we required. We were able to sit on the terrace and outside the front door to have our meals when weather permitted. We loved the village of Barchi and were able to visit a number of places in the vicinity including towns and villages on the Adriatic coast and inland. The detailed instructions provided by Sheena and Shawn and the information provided in the house were very helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this house to anyone wanting a lovely holiday in an unspoilt area of Italy' Guest Book -2007: Ed Stewart, Washington DC USA - a truly amazing vacation experience for our family of four. The home is a piece of paradise, as is the village. A real Italian 'mama' cooks at the town restaurant - but we often tried our hand at the local favorites - and with all the fresh ingredients available (and grown locally) even a novice could prepare a feast! The local wines were superb. The kids loved walking along the ramparts encircling the town atop 20 meter brick walls. Needless to say, the views were stunning. Peaceful, relaxing and unforgettable! Shawn McCormick, Moscow Russia - Having visited Italy more than 30 times, I thought that I had seen it all. And then I found this house in this tremendously beautiful region. Casa Vista Panoramica - at the end of such a lovely medieval town with such awe inspiring views - was the perfect holiday home for our family. We loved spending our days relaxing in the house, the small park next door or walking around the countryside. And if you love casually driving from one quaint medieval village to the next on curvy countryroads, then Barchi is perfectly placed for you - there are nine other hamlets visible from the house! They don't call Marche the next Tuscany for nothing! But while short on busloads of tourists (thankfully!), this region is not short on things to do and see. Bottom-line; an idyllic getaway.
