Come check out Lake Toxaway, North Carolina’s largest private lake. Unwind in this quaint 4/3 lake house that’s great for families, couples, or the solo adventurer. From the house it’s a short walk to the lake where you can swim, fish, kayak, use the SUP or enjoy the mountainous lake view. Included in the rental price are 2 kayaks & a SUP. Convenient to Cashiers, Brevard, & about an hour from Asheville! The space Nearby hikes and waterfalls: Whitewater Falls (about 20 mins) Gorges State Park (about 10 mins) Toxaway River Trail (about 5 mins) Guest access While renting you have lake access and can use the 2 kayaks and the stand up paddle board. Feel free to grill out on the deck. Boats are available for rent from the Lake Toxaway Marina. http://www.laketoxawaymarine.com/ During the summer months the kayaks and SUP will be down by our dock space. ****Guests WILL NOT have access to the garage.**** Other things to note Getting to the lake: We have a shared dock with the other chalets on the property. To get to the lake you have to walk down Toxaway Landing Dr and turn right at the mailboxes. You will see our path on the right when you get to the bottom of the road. ****Sometimes we have a boat at our dock. We don't have the insurance to rent it. Boat rentals are available from the marina. If you rent a boat the marina will deliver to our dock and remove ours from our dock space.**** Don't hesitate to confirm availability - we block out a lot of dates in the summer because we use the place a lot.
