Paddle over to Ocean Beach or the Ngunguru bar for a surf or walk around to Wellingtons Bay. It is also home of the world famous Poor Knights Islands which is a marine reserve area, renowned for fabulous diving. A couple of minutes over the hill is the Tutukaka Marina, which is also home to Schnappa Rock Restaurant and the Marina Pizzeria. Drive another 5 minutes and you will be at Matapouri Bay, Whale Bay and Sandy Bay. When your day is complete, you can relax in the loungers, light the barbecue and watch the sun set.
