Enjoy crystal clear Swan Lake with our kayaks, canoes, dock, float, back deck and fire pit. You'll see eagles, loons, gorgeous sunrise & sunsets. Forty-five minutes away is Camden, home of the schooners; while Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park is a scenic 90 minute drive. You can also take a ferry ride to several islands nearby. Explore the local fairs and the outdoor waterfront concert series in Bangor, then treat yourself to a fresh Maine lobster dinner on the harbor! The space Located on a quiet dirt road, this rustic lakeside cottage has charm to spare, with interior pine walls and a woodstove if things ever get chilly. It's fully furnished with two bedrooms, and a single bath. Sleeps five comfortably (plus a pullout couch if needed.) Guest access Directly in front of the cabin is a great area for launching canoes and kayaks. To the left is a beautiful cove that guests have access to, along with a spot for swimming and fishing out on the point. Follow the lawn to the right of the cabin and you'll find another swimming area with a dock and float in front of our Host house. Don’t be shy, you're welcome to enjoy these amenities as we've had guests swimming in front of our house for over forty years. Please enjoy! Other things to note During the summer we prefer to rent on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. Note: Please bring your own towels.
