You’ll love my home. It is quaint and clean and ready for guests. Perfect for guests that have trouble with steps. The location, the ambiance, the people, the neighborhood, the outdoors space, in a small town. Approx. 20 min. from Phila. airport, the Phila. zoo, museums, arts, culture, theaters, restaurants and entertainment. Downtown Wilmington De. business and pleasure area is approx. 20-25 min. south. Approx. 1 & 1/2 + hours - to all Southern New Jersey shore points. The space You have access to the entire 2 story living area of the house and large yard. You have total privacy with no other people or pets in the home. The house is 97 yrs. old but renovated. Recently added several rooms of new carpeting, a new stove and new microwave. There is a garbage disposal for food and large trash cans on the property for bulk trash and a recycle can. The house is in a small, but quaint town. This is NOT a shared rental & the owner DOESN’T stay on the property. PLEASE read all amenities included with your stay. I do need to let you know, that this is my home, so my personal items (as mentioned earlier) will be on the premises, this includes basic food stuffs in pantry area and refrigerator. This I have to stress since a group decided not to stay when they saw that the house was as they stated was, “to personal” ????? I always try to make my house your home away from home ! If you are looking for a space that is not “personal” there is a Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn about 8 minutes away. There is no SMOKING or VAPING in the house or in the yard. $100 fine. STRICTLY ENFORCED ! If you need to smoke please do it in your vehicle. If any of the things mentioned above or throughout the listing makes you feel uncomfortable, then my home is not right fit for you. As I progress with my air bnb rentals, I will always ask for feedback from my guests before posting a review. Reviews are a large part of the air BnB community, for hosts and guests to read. I would ask that you leave your review within the timeframe allotted by air BnB. A quick note.. due to previous issues, the 2 fireplaces are NOT to be used by guests. Guest access You have total use both main and second floors of home, the yard and patio. Off street parking for multiple cars. Other things to note There is a fenced in area off patio in back yard for my dog. That is where the entrance point will be. I will be leaving her crate in the house, but out of your way. The fenced dog ground area is a little rough, but it is kept clean. I have noticed that some of the yard has become a little uneven due to settlement of ground, so be careful. Watch for soft or low spots in entire yard. My yard goes all the way back to behind the large blue garage, not just the dog area. I do have many family and friend photos hanging (you can see in photos) If you find these uncomfortable or not to your taste, then again I will suggest you stay elsewhere. Enjoy freshly ground coffee each day, along with a variety of refrigerated flavored creamers, half n' half, or milk in refrigerator.. Sugar, sweeteners and tea are also available. All are provided for you, along with a tea kettle. A wonderful morning start to sit out on the patio and enjoy the nature that occupies my property, weather permitting. There is a 24' X 10' covered patio / pad with gas grill. Also, in an upstairs bedroom closet, there is a pac n’ play for a baby or small toddler and a youth mattress. There is a ring doorbell/camera on the side entrance and a ring camera near the back entrance, for my own safety.
