Formerly operating as a chocolate factory, now converted into a cosy, self contained cottage with stunning views towards the Mangawhai estuary, Little Barrier Island and the Hen and Chicken islands. A short distance to the Mangawhai village and its Saturday markets. For the more active, some of the local attractions include bush walking, surfing, mountain biking or a round of golf at an international standard golf course. Enjoy some of the local quality restaurants and cafes and the local tavern which has a varied array of entertainment to suit all tastes. For the shopaholics, there are a diverse and varied assortment of boutique stores operating in traditional shops and lots of obscure and interesting locations. Pay a visit to the local museum and soak in the history of Mangawhai. Spend some time at the Mangawhai Amusement Zone (MAZ), with its variety of kids entertainment, or meander along the many well sign posted and marked bush walks. Our property is well positioned to enjoy all the local attractions, but for those that just wish to relax, you can soak in our hot tub, enjoy a swim in our large salt water swimming pool, have full use of a barbecue, WiFi, an array of books, board games, Freeview TV and DVDs all free to use. This combined with stunning views and a peaceful location will truly give you a holiday to remember. Special conditions: Ideally suit a couple, with a double bed. Includes a full single bed as an option. This a large open plan style cottage. The main bedroom is walled off rather than a separate room, but living area is large with great views. All linen and towels are provided. Tea and coffee also complimentary.
