Minutes from I-91 with easy commuting access to downtown Hartford, business and tourist sites, universities, and Hartford Hospital/CCMC. The studio is an in-law suite above our garage. It is attached to our home but has its own keyed entrance. It has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower over tub, closet, queen-sized bed, kitchen table/chairs, and workspace. Thank you and stay safe!* Our place is suitable for two people: it has a queen-sized bed. We can also accommodate 2 children; please indicate when making your request. We can provide a pack n'play (travel cot), highchair, etc for the youngest guests, and a mattress on the floor for older children. The studio has a kitchen with full-sized fridge and freezer, an oven, and a microwave. There is a dining table and chairs. There is a futon and armchair around a gas-fired stove, for cozying up in the cooler months. There is a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. There is a spacious closet with shelves and hangers. We provide tea, coffee and some snacks. We don't have a TV but we do offer Wifi, board games, and reading material (and that cozy fireplace!). Guest access The studio has its own entrance up a single flight of stairs and its own door key. The studio is above our garage; on the inside, it is separated from the main house by the staircase and feels very private. There is driveway parking for one guest car. Guests are requested not to use the lawn/garden or patio area. Other things to note No tobacco or drug use of any kind (including vaping). No smoking inside the studio, in our driveway, or in front of our house. If you are a smoker, our studio is not a good choice for you. No parties or additional guests: please provide the full names of any guests before you arrive. No pets. No excessive noise after 10pm.
