Adorable lakeside cabin on Birch Lake, located just minutes from downtown in Birchwood! 2 cabins available, ask for details! The space The Birch Lake Bungalows are our family cabins located on Birch Lake in Birchwood, WI. When we are not able to be up at the lake, we want to share our little piece of heaven with you! We have 2 cozy 2 bedroom cabins sitting just steps off of beautiful Birch Lake. This listing is for the Bear’s Den Cabin. Birch Lake connects to 2200 acre Chetac lake (easily accessible by boat), both of which offer an abudance of fish including; panfish, norther pike, walleye and bass. A fish cleaning house is on site for you to conveniently clean your daily catch! This property rental comes with your own private dock; at which you are welcome to dock your boat for your entire stay. Pontoon rentals are available just down the road. Birch Lake is also home to the beautiful Doolittle county park and public beach! The Tuscobia state trail runs nearby and offers 74 miles of trail open to ATV riding, snowmobiling, walking, bicycling, and horse riding. Both Birch and Chetac lake offer several lakeside bars and restaurants for all your entertainment and dining needs! If that isn’t enough, the town of Birchwood is just minutes away. Each cabin sleeps a maximum of 6 people (this includes children). This is a strict maximum due to the septic system ability. If extra guests are noted on security camera you will be asked to leave without refund or pay an additional $50/additional guest/day. Amenities provided in each cabin include: Window air conditioner (1 per cabin) and ceiling fans Propane furnace WIFI access Bedroom 1: Twin over Full Bunk Bedroom 2: Queen size bed **Sheets and a light comforter are provided on all beds. Please bring additional blankets if desired. Living room area with pull out couch along with other seating options. 40” inch HDTV equipped with Roku with active Netflix and Hulu subscriptions. Local programming is not currently included. Fully stocked kitchen including: Flatware, tableware, basic pots and pans, basic utensils, regular and keurig coffee pot, microwave, stove, full size refrigerator, dish soap, & paper towel Dining Table to seat 4 1 bathroom with shower. Hand towels provided. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BATH TOWELS. Outdoor deck space with patio furniture and charcoal grill. Charcoal not provided. Fire pit. Fire wood not provided. There is also a small propane camp stove which takes the camp size tanks. If you use it, please clean it thoroughly. Private dock which you are welcome to park your boat at for the duration of your stay. We also have 4 kayaks and a pedal boat available for use during your stay (shared between cabins). The cabins share a community pergola area, fire pit and fish house. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after themselves if they choose to utilize the outdoor areas including the fish house. This is not routinely cleaned by housekeeping staff. The cabins have a water softener to help with the naturally hard water. We do recommend bringing bottled water for drinking. Winter considerations: * There is a snow shovel available for use during your stay. The walkways will generally be cleared upon check-in, we ask that, if possible, you keep them clear during your stay. The deck spaces and the concrete stairway down to the water are NOT cleared of snow on a regular basis during winter. The parking area will be plowed as needed by a local plow service. You may be asked to move your vehicle for plowing. * The water to the fish house is shut off during the winter months. The fish house is in close vicinity to both cabins making water easily totable. Please refrain from cleaning fish in the cabins. Guest access Due to limited space, there is a maximum of 2 parked vehicles (or 1 truck/trailer) per cabin.
