With plenty of creature comforts & a pet-friendly policy, our yurt is perfect for a relaxing & immersive outdoor adventure. Nestled on a small homestead with horses, goats, chickens, & dogs. A short drive away from local landmarks, including Lake Memphremagog, Lake Willoughby, Burke Mountain, & Jay Peak. The space The yurt itself is a short hike or snowshoe away from the parking area, and a wagon or sled is provided to make hauling your gear easy and hassle-free. The yurt is completely off-grid, providing you with a true wilderness experience, but don't worry - you won't be roughing it! The yurt is equipped with solar lights, a gas stove, a propane fridge, a solar battery system for charging devices or light electric use, a composting toilet, and a summer shower. To keep you warm and cozy during chilly nights, the yurt is heated by a wood stove, and we provide all the wood you need for a crackling fire. While there is no running water piped into the yurt, there is water on-site, and we have stocked the yurt with everything you need for cooking and eating, including dishes, cooking supplies, books, games, toys, and linens. You can also enjoy the outdoor amenities, including a fire pit, a charcoal grill, and a picnic table.
