Away from the city lights, the night sky is awe-inspiring, and by day there are regular visitors from francolin to mongoose, sometimes baboons and the occasional buck (antelope). Just a 40-minute drive to the famed Stellenbosch wine lands, Pringle Bay is the perfect base for those who want to enjoy the great outdoors, and explore what the UN Overberg World Biosphere Reserve has to offer. With recently installed wifi fast enough for Zoom calls creates an opportunity to escape the bustle of the city, while still maintaining contact with work and working online. There are many choices of working spaces to choose from. Perfect for a holiday, our house is just a short distance from a host of different hikes, the beach and lagoon, a small cluster of stores including a deli, convenience store, liquor store, coffee shops, internet cafe, restaurants (a range from Italian, local seafood, pizza etc) book store are all in the village just a few minutes walk away. One of Africa's largest penguin colonies, is just a 10 minute drive away, as well as the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. The whale-watching haven of Hermanus is just a 55 minute drive away. Southern Right-Whales can be spotted from one of the many balconies this home has to offer. Clear views from the decks of the Indian Ocean (the warm one!), make for amazing sundowners. This home boasts an outdoor shower, overlooking the spectacular mountains that encircle our home. With a fully equipped open-plan kitchen and living area, our home is perfect for entertaining, or for relaxing and enjoying the pleasures of nature.
