Enjoy this quaint Cozy Cottage with bedroom loft! This adorable 1-bedroom unique place has a style all its own. Built in the 1960’s behind the main house, it has floor to ceiling pine paneling, pine floors and fireplace. It has been recently remodeled with new tiled bathroom , newly remodeled kitchen and stainless steel appliances. A new Heating and Air unit was installed summer 2021. The pine paneling and 16 foot high ceilings gives it that "cottagey" feel. The space We also own the "Big House" next door and it is currently also an Airbnb, called, "The Blissful Bungalow". So if you see people on the deck or walking in the yard They are also our guests. Guest access There is off street parking. The best way to get around is your own transportation. There is a city bus line pickup/drop available nearby. Other things to note The wooden stairs up to the loft where the bedroom is are very narrow. The width is only 2ft 2" wide. People with physical limitations may find Climbing the stairs difficult. Also please be careful carrying items up the stairs. There is not a handrail on the lower set of steps due to the narrow size of the stairs, but you can hold upper handrail if you need. The Cottage does not have direct cable television. TV has smart TV Technology to stream your paid streaming services as well as free streaming services. Press the "home" button to get into the built-in smart TV functions. Please make sure you sign out of your streaming services when you check out. The fireplace is for looks only!!! Please do not use!!! Major safety hazard!!! There are a few quirks with this 1960’s property. Like the front storm door sticks a little and you have to turn handle up to open. Side door near patio won’t lock from inside but is locked from outside as well as the storm door is locked. There is no dishwasher, all pots/ pans and dishes will need washed by hand. Please use caution when getting in and out of the bathtub, it can be slippery. There is a non-slip tub mat provided under the Bathroom sink. Please use provided coasters for drinks on furniture. Please leave the space as you found it! We love our adorable Lofty Cottage and want to keep it in great shape for all our future guests!
