My husband and I live in the house with our 4 cats and 3 dogs, Abby a 13-year old Corgi and Lee 1-year old corgi, and Mizzie, an 8-year old Catahoula/Sharpei Mix. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: Both of our dogs are rescues and require introductions before they are comfortable with strangers. DO NOT TRY TO PET. For that reason, we cannot grant guests access to the house without our presence. However, if you are an animal lover and want to be introduced to our pets that can be arranged! If you prefer to not interact with the animals that's fine, too! : ) Guest access We are anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes from Downtown Nashville depending on which neighborhood. Approximately 10 miles from Nissan Stadium where the Titans play and Bridgestone Arena where the Predators play. Tennessee is noted for many outdoor attractions such as lakes, rivers, and parks. J Percy Priest Lake and Old Hickory Lake are 10 and 20 minutes or less away and offer many activities. Stones River access is 3 minutes away and offer fishing, kayaking, canoeing and access to miles of greenway walking and biking trails. Two Rivers Park is 3 minutes away and offer 9 holes of golfing, while Hermitage Golf Course is 15 minutes away and offer 18 holes on the finest public access course in Tennessee. The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson, is 15 minutes away, plus many Civil War locations throughout the area. We are no more than 20 minutes away from Lipscomb University, Vanderbilt University, Trevecca University, Belmont University, and Tennessee State University. Other things to note We are a no smoking and no unexpected (non-registered) guests establishment. We have a brand new HVAC mini split unit installed for heating and cooling completely under the guest’s control. Guests with pets must inform me prior to arrival that you plan on traveling with your furry companion as there are some rules in place that must be followed in order to stay. A spare mattress is available upon request prior to arrival. The carport has room for two cars. You may park in the empty spot available under the carport. This may be on the left or right side.
