This 3 bedroom 1.5 bath cabin is surrounded by 100 acres of pines and is the perfect place for a private getaway. Conveniently located to nearby Ohiopyle State Park, Fallingwater, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Lady Luck Casino. Enjoy the view off the front or back porch while listening to the natural stream flow through the property. The space If you’re looking for a super private, peaceful place to relax-this is it! It’s a very comfortable home away from home. Situated on 2.5 acres our cabin is over 100 years old. Recently renovated so you can expect new furniture, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and Samsung smart tv’s for every room. Large maintained yard for games and activities, perfect for the kids! We provide lots of outdoor games such as Cornhole boards, bocce ball, ladder ball, frisbees, etc! Bring your rod and reel and fish right out of the stream on our property, it’s stocked with trout by the game commission! Hang out by the huge fire pit, roast some marshmallows and watch the stars at night. Go whitewater rafting in Ohiopyle or tour Fallingwater. Great place to come see the fall foliage! Bring your skis or snowboard and shred the slopes at the nearby ski resort! Our cabin is very centrally located to all of the local attractions! Ohiopyle State Park (10 minutes), Bear Run Nature Reserve (6 minutes) and Frank Lloyd Wrights Fallingwater (8 minutes). Seven Springs Mountain Resort (20 minutes) where the activities are endless! Nemacolin Woodlands, along with Lady Luck Casino (22 minutes). There’s also a campground (2 minutes away) called Yogi Bear Jellystone Park and it comes equipped with a restaurant, snack shacks, an outdoor water park, pools, water slides and a laundromat. Please note that the property is a cabin in the woods. You will most likely see spider webs and bugs and animals do roam free. We do not offer a refund for these things as they are out of our control. Guest access Anywhere in the mowed portion of the yard. Other things to note 2 night minimum stay 3 night minimum stay holiday weekends We do offer a discount for stays 7 days or longer. -All guests must be added to your reservation list before check in information will be sent. -There will be a key pad on the front door-I’ll message you with the code to get in no later than the day prior to arrival. -PLEASE NO SHOES ON INSIDE OF THE HOUSE. You are welcome to bring slippers. -Our cabin has 1 king bed that has adjustable split mattresses and 2 queen beds. -Our cabin is at the end of a well maintained gravel road down a slight hill but it’s accessible with low clearance vehicles. Guests need to maintain a slow speed on road and respect the other residents. -Firewood is available on property for your use, we just ask that you leave a donation in our firewood box located on the back porch if you use it for the kid who supplies it for us or you can purchase it at nearby stores if you’re more comfortable. -Yard games such as cornhole and ladder ball included! Please enjoy but they stay with the house. Please do not take beach towels and camp chairs from property for daily excursions. -Outdoor blackstone grille available for your use but must be cleaned if you use it. Our cleaners do not clean it. -Cell phone service is very limited, so come prepared. There is whole home WiFi though. -WINTER Our road is plowed routinely but remember winter recreation is dependent on snowfall and you must be prepared with a 4wd vehicle, snow tires and/or chains. Cancellations due to weather are non refundable. -No FIREWORKS -PETS We only offer pets with my approval for a non refundable $100 pet fee per pet and strict rules. This fee does not cover damage, breakage or extra cleaning caused by the pet. NO PUPPIES. Must be house trained. Must be put in a crate if you’re leaving the house without them. Must dispose of their waste properly. Must follow house rules for no pets on bedding or furniture. Any evidence of pets on furniture will result in extra cleaning fees. Pets must be treated with flea/tick repellent prior to arrival and preferably groomed. -We do have outdoor Nest security cameras and ring doorbell cameras on the front and rear doors and they must remain plugged in. Our home is in a remote location so it’s not only to protect us, but also to protect you. Failing to follow these rules will result in you stay be canceled with no refund. -Only registered guests permitted on property. Our insurance company requires this. Failure to follow this rule will result in cancellation of reservation with no refund and immediate eviction. -Host reserves the right to change decor, beddings, pillows, furniture arrangement etc and by doing so, does not constitute listing inaccuracies 🥲 -Whole home generator with auto switch.
