We are fortunate to be open for business! Almost Heaven is located above Lake Glenville with wonderful water and mountain views. One half of this updated duplex is all you'll need for your home base to explore everything outdoors in Jackson County. Downtown Cashiers and its grocery store, boutique shopping, and restaurants are only five miles away. Turn right onto Route 64 and travel 20 minutes to the town of Highlands, NC to explore Main Street and its' shopping and restaurant experiences. The space After arriving in our flat parking lot, step into one level living for your stay. The primary bedroom suite with king bed and full bath and lake views is the perfect retreat. The secondary bedroom and its queen bed has easy access to the second full bath. You will be able to prepare everything from coffee to cocktails in your fully equipped kitchen to take out to the covered porch and enjoy the views. We have the best internet available in our area (Frontier Preferred Internet 18M Tier). Be sure to bring your passwords as we don't have cable, but our Smart TV allows access to Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc. Guest access The entire space. Other things to note **We have two sit-on-top kayaks with paddles and life jackets available for an additional $50 per stay. It is your responsibility to transport the kayaks by vehicle from house to lake because we do not have direct lake access. **We love pets, and have a dog ourselves....however we have to require a $50 pet fee if you choose to bring your pet to Almost Heaven. This covers additional cleaning necessary to have our space ready for the next visitor, who may not like pets or be allergic. Thanks for understanding.
