Home is located in the tree-lined neighborhood of Shepherd Park, with quick access to d’town Silver Spring, the White House, National Mall, and AFI for AIRP doctors. Self check-in possible. Ask about dog policy. The space Two bedrooms. One apartment size "Gold Room" with a kitchen area, brand new small “fridge”, microwave and loft. The second bedroom is the "Red Room", nice size room, cozy and comfortable. Ample lighted closet space in both rooms. Guest access You will have access to most of the entire home. The second floor is dedicated "guest" space. Accommodates two (2) guests. There is off street parking for one car and complementary permit parking for guests. During your stay As a native Washingtonian I can recommend restaurants, shops, markets & neighborhoods for sightseeing. The metro is 10 minutes walking distance, AFI Theatre, a 15 minute walk from the home. I may be available to drive one to and from the metro upon arrival and departure. Other things to note The Metro is a 12 minute walk and the American Film Institute is a 15 minute walk from my home, passing restaurants, shops and our large, local grocery store on the way to either destination. Bus transportation at the corner to downtown and the National Mall.
