Nice bedroom with great 80 yr. old paneling and glass art. Comfortable with desk/chair for laptop and dresser. Tastefully decorated with lovely old oak flooring which makes it very cozy. It leads out of a sliding glass door to a great deck for relaxing or soaking up sun and/or gaze at the moon and the stars. Great neighborhood within walking distance to the Rockville Station (Metro) and Rockville Town Center (four block walk). Guest may utilize full kitchen, living and dining rooms. The space The space is very cute room with antiques galore with a single bed (new mattress), dresser and plenty of room in armoire for hanging clothes and vintage wing-back chair for relaxing or reading with floor lamp, laptop desk with lamp by window with plenty of light, interesting art, art glass, unique mirrors at eye level by the bed and a great deck just outside the sliding glass doors. Guest access The bedroom is great, but unless you are familiar or the other guest(s) are family or friends in the master bedroom, the full bathroom in that room/suite can not be used. The one you must use is down the stairs on the first level of the home which is a little inconvenient; however, for the great price of the room, it is worth it! No other guest(s) may use this bathroom. During your stay Bruce and Kathleen will be available at all times, unless out of town; however, a very trustworthy local individual will be available. Other things to note All in all the the space is very nice and most guests are impressed with the decorating of the room because of the vintage pieces, glass art, antiques and mirrors. It is very comfortable as well. If a guest would like a friend to stay in that room, a foam mattress may be placed on the floor for an additional $15 per night for another person.
