Have a rustic mountain experience with a Bed in the Bunkhouse at Boots Off Hostel & Campground. Designed to be a comfortable, cool or warm, clean sleeping space for one, in a shared room, the Bunkhouse will be the perfect place for rest while you enjoy a hike along the Appalachian Trail and/or water activities on Watauga Lake (Kayak/Canoe/Paddleboard rentals available). Please note, bathroom and shower facilities are shared, and are a very short walk from the Bunkhouse. The space The Bunkhouse features personal lighting and electrical outlets for each bed, along with curtains for privacy and a lockable area for personal belongings (Lock not provided) Your stay includes a light continental breakfast. A air conditioner or heater is provided to keep you cool or warm, depending on the time of year along with extra blankets, linens, and towels available at customer’s request. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property during their stay. The campground is a beautiful place for a short, shady walk through the woods. There is also a shared common area (heated), with a large fire pit (we make fires most nights), picnic tables, a shared fridge/freezer, sink, hot plate, microwave, and toaster oven. We also have a small camp store with hiker essentials, snacks, and some frozen foods/ice cream.
