A home away from home. A beautiful tropical villa inspired by local architecture wisdoms in a modern and traditional mix of styles, using local and reused materials as well as restored second hand furnitures. A cool yet sunny place surrounded by a private tropical garden, hence the name "Villa Dikebun" which means villa in the garden. A perfect place to relax, read, write and unwind after a big surf day out. The space Your room opens directly on to the garden. A comfy King Koil bed, ensuite shower and toilet, big ceiling fan (No Air-con), and a lounge chair to read at the corner will probably make you not want to leave the room. There is an open deck looking out on to the lush tropical garden and the stars at night. On a quiet day (which basically is every day), you'll be lulled by the soft sound of waves and birds chirping. One of the perks of this place is the outdoor shower among the trees to rinse off after an ocean dip. Guest access Make your self at home. The day bed "dipan", hammock, the sun deck, deck chairs, outdoor shower, and the garden are there for your convenience. As well as the open kitchen which is fully equipped with oven, stove, fridge, and big sink area. Feel free to help yourselves to drinking water any time. You can also harvest the garden yourself if you’re happen to be in the season or if you're a good tree climber. We have sapodilla 'sawo', and coconut. Other things to note • Due to the openness, the wind, the rain and the nature, it is impossible to keep this house sterile. So this is not the house for the hosophobia. • There are bugs, but they don't really get that bad. Mostly, you will see some fireflies, moth and mosquitoes.
