Follow us on IG @bowtiehill The space Bow Tie Hill is a three bed two bath contemporary ranch home built in 1975 on 13.41 acres located at the end of a private country road. Watch the sun and moon rise, see stars and hear birds, explore the woods & apple trees and gaze at the Shawangunk Mountains in the distance. The home is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including kitchen essentials, bath products, board games, books, wifi and a fire pit. There is a Roku enabled TV (with various streaming channel available- Netflix, etc.) and a record player for your enjoyment! The home is on thirteen acres so feel free to roam. The home and the entire grounds are available for your enjoyment! There are two cleared areas one next to the home and one overlooking the property a short walk up. Old stone walls and trails throughout the property makes for a great escape getaway. The home is on a small hill up an unpaved road. Please consider a four wheel drive, especially in the winter months. Guest access Keys will be left for you and digital August lock access provided. We are always available by email, text, or phone. The basement is locked and not for guest access as it is not finished. If you need to get down there for any reason, please reach out to us. Bow Tie Hill is on an unpaved country road on Bow Tie Hill in the Loch Sheldrake area. This is the Catskills, so cellphone reception is spotty. Use Gooogle Maps—and drive slowly. Best way to get around is by car and four wheel drive is recommended as our home is on top of a small hill. Other things to note The home is in the heart of the Catskills--under two hours north of New York City. Nearby you will find Hurleyville Market, a cozy country market for great coffee and local organic products. Take in a class or film at the Hurleyville Arts Centre or explore local towns- Callicoon, Livingston Manor, Liberty and the like.. We are less than ten minutes away from Stagedoor Manor and approximately twenty minutes from the Center for Discovery. We are surrounded by some great hiking spots in the Catskills, including Verderkills Falls and the Ice Caves. Enjoy your stay!
