The Plainfield Inn
APPROX. 16 X 12 · PRIVATE BATH · NORTH AND EASTERN EXPOSURE This is the largest room in the original house with northern and eastern exposures. It is named for the original building owner who moved the 1851 school-house to Fox River where it now sits. The space Thank you for choosing The Plainfield Inn! We are the blue historical house with cream trim, just south of Lockport Street in downtown Plainfield. The Inn has original stairs from 1851; they are steep. If you require assistance, please let us know and we will gladly help in any way we can. Guest access CHECK IN TIME: Your suite will be ready for you by 3 PM. CODE: You will be able to get into the room and the front door using the last 4 digits of the phone number you used to make the reservation. Please be patient before trying to open the door, you will hear the mechanics of the lock and it does take a couple of seconds to retract the deadbolt. Also, make sure to lock the front door as you come and go for everyone's added piece of mind. You can push the Schlage logo button to lock the door, but you will need the code to unlock it. PARKING Park in the driveway at an angle overnight. The Village of Plainfield has an ordinance that prohibits parking on the street between 1-6 am. If the Village cites you, it is currently a $15 fine. INTERNET The internet is Plainfield-Inn and the password is GUESTROOM (all caps). CHECKOUT Checkout is by 11 am. If you think about it, a parting text is always helpful to our cleaning schedule, however, nothing is needed to complete the checkout. If you need anything at all- please don't hesitate to ask.
