♥ Cozy room in 50's house with private bathroom ♥
In the middle of this fast-growing city, Bangkok, there is a peaceful oasis–a retro house from the 1950's almost completely original and a great example of Asian/Danish modern architecture–full of big trees and plants. The house is quiet and cool and surrounded by nature. I love retro furnishings and old stuff so it is full of my funky knick-knacks. And yes, there is of course high-speed fiber optic wifi internet. The space Step into our inviting bedroom, spanning approximately 16 sqm., with the added convenience of a private bathroom measuring approximately 9 sqm. You'll discover a comfortable 5 ft. bed, a spacious closet, a functional work desk, and ample lighting to create a pleasant ambiance. Your privacy is guaranteed with an individual room key. We do have a furry friend here—Lola, our friendly 10-year-old indoor cat. Please note that if you have allergies, this may not be the ideal place for you. While Lola has her own designated bedroom and mainly resides downstairs, she is not allowed in guest bedrooms, we kindly request that you keep the doors closed tightly to ensure her safety. Lola loves to explore the garden and enjoy the outdoor space, so you might spot her there. She's quite sociable and adds a touch of warmth to our home! In our garden, you'll be enchanted by over 15 majestic tropical trees, some reaching heights of up to 15 meters. The lush foliage provides ample shade, creating a cool and peaceful atmosphere. You'll be greeted by the melodious songs of birds in the morning, and if luck is on your side, you might even catch a glimpse of the neighboring peacocks paying us a visit. Our garden is a vibrant ecosystem, teeming with birds, butterflies, frogs, and lizards, allowing you to escape the city and immerse yourself in a tranquil country-like setting. Our home offers a back-to-basics experience, with no TV but a convenient microwave available for your use. You'll have access to a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, and coffee maker—perfect for preparing light meals or enjoying a delicious breakfast. Seek solace in the peaceful nooks and crannies of our space, where you can practice yoga, meditate, indulge in a captivating book, relax on a hammock, or savor a cup of tea. You'll have full access to all common areas, ensuring you feel at home and at ease during your stay. Please note: Occasionally, we host workshops or meet-ups in this vibrant space, usually once a month or so. Guest access Feel free to explore and enjoy all the common areas in the house. While we have one room available for rent in the main house, there is also a small room at the back of the attached house that is occasionally rented out. However, with ample space, you'll have plenty of privacy and peacefulness. It's worth mentioning that I also reside in this house, ensuring your needs are promptly attended to. During your stay As a freelance creative designer, I'm often occupied with work, but I truly enjoy connecting with my guests whenever possible. Sharing stories, engaging in conversations, and exchanging experiences with people from around the world bring me immense joy. Feel free to approach me with any questions or simply to have a pleasant chat. Other things to note For our smoking guests, we kindly ask that you utilize the numerous outdoor areas and balconies available for smoking. Smoking inside the house is not permitted. We also maintain a peaceful atmosphere and kindly request no parties. Step into our natural haven, where time slows down, and the embrace of nature envelops you. We invite you to experience the warmth and tranquility of our cozy retro house, where every moment promises More pictures can be found at #1104bangkok
